About every three minutes we'd pass some additional animals on or near the road.
Just after taking this photo we rounded the bend to meet our upteenth Bolivian police checkpoint. They always wanted to see passports, bike immigration papers, driver's license, and anything else they happened to think of. At this particular checkpoint we produced everything they wanted and then they got creative - "Can we see your international driver's license?" We actually had this and then they insisted on seeing the receipt from the last toll booth we passed. I explained that motos don't pay tolls and we had no receipt. They got pretty frustrated and asked for "un dollar" and they let us pass. - Jay
